EXPERIENCE
Tom Martinelli, MS, CIH, ARM is the founder of Martinelli Risk & Safety Consulting and a Certified Industrial Hygienist with nearly three decades of experience helping organizations manage industrial hygiene, safety, and operational risk.
He began his career in private industry as a corporate safety and workers’ compensation manager for two major manufacturers before moving into consulting roles with national insurance brokerage firms. Over the past 25+ years, he has supported clients across manufacturing, construction, healthcare, food service, aerospace, and retail, helping them identify hazards, control exposures, and strengthen risk management practices.
Tom specializes in evaluating occupational exposures such as noise, airborne contaminants, and mold, while also addressing broader operational issues that contribute to workers’ compensation, general liability, and property losses. His work is focused on practical solutions that reduce incidents, improve performance, and support real-world operations.
He also works closely with client safety teams to strengthen technical skills, improve program performance, and build internal capability that adds long-term value to the organization.
